Goal

To develop an internationally competitive industry that will be vibrant, efficient and able to undertake most of the construction projects in Tanzania and export its services and products and ensure value for money to the industry clients as well as environmental responsibility in implementation of construction projects.

 

Services

Promoting construction industry development, planning and coordination, technical advisory services, monitoring of standards and regulations, technical audit services, settlement of construction disputes, information services, training, research and technology development.

 

Economic Development

The construction Industry has been the driving force behind economic development throughout history as it is strategically important in creating the necessary physical infrastructure for economic and social activities in the attainment of sustainable growth.

 

Poverty alleviation

The Construction Industry is one of the sectors that can contribute to poverty eradication through sustainable employment creation and human resource development. Immediate possibilities to create employment opportunities are available through labour based construction related activities and community based delivery arrangements.

 

Sustainable development
